40 tenants and laborers were verified by Almora Police station Lamgada by running a campaign for verification of outsiders/laborers and tenants. A challan action of Rs 5,000 was taken against the concerned person under the Police Act for not getting the police verification done by a contractor. While making the local people aware of the tenant verification, an appeal was made by the police to get the police verification done before hiring outsiders in their houses.
