इन्श्योरेन्स के नाम पर देश भर में लाखों की ठगी करने वाले गिरोह का पर्दाफाश किया गया। बंद पडी बीमा पॉलिसी चालू करने, पॉलिसी प्रीमियम, मेचोरटी रिबेट आदि के नाम पर आमजन से लाखों की ठगी की शिकायत पर साइबर क्राइम पुलिस स्टेशन देहरादून द्वारा ठगी करने वाले गिरोह के सरगना अजीत कुमार को दिल्ली/एन0सी0आर के दल्लूपुरा गांव से (06 मोबाईल फोन, सिम कार्ड, चैक बुक, एवं ₹ 47,000 रु0 बरामदगी) गिरफ्तार किया गया ।

डांगचोरा-दुगड्डा मार्ग पर वाहन के खाई में गिरने की सूचना पर एसडीआरएफ एवं स्थानीय पुलिस द्वारा आस-पास के लोगों की सहायता से 07 घायलों को सकुशल रेस्क्यू कर अस्पताल ले जाया गया व खाई से 01 व्यक्ति का शव भी निकाला गया।

अल्मोडा चौखुटिया रोड के समीप एक मोटर साइकिल सड़क मार्ग से लगभग 60 मीटर नीचे खाई में दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने से उसमें सवार पति-पत्नी दोनों गम्भीर रुप से घायल हो गए। मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस टीम ने घायलों को नदी पार कर कड़ी मसक्कत के बाद पुलिस सरकारी वाहन के माध्यम से नजदीकी चिकित्सालय पहुंचाया। समय पर उपचार मिलने से महिला की जान बच गई।

Both husband and wife were seriously injured after a motorcycle crashed into a ditch about 60 meters below the road near Almora Chaukhutia Road. The police team that reached the spot, after crossing the river, took the injured to the nearest hospital in a police official vehicle. The woman's life was saved by getting timely treatment.

पौड़ी जिले के भ्रमण पर पहुंचे सचिव मुख्यमंत्री, ऊर्जा एवं वैकल्पिक ऊर्जा, श्रम एवं नियोजन विभाग श्री आर. मीनाक्षी सुंदरम ने राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय सारीमल्ली में रात्रि चौपाल आयोजित कर लोगों की जन समस्याएं सुनी। इस दौरान उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को स्थानीय ग्रामीणों द्वारा उठाए गए विभिन्न बिंदुओं पर कार्रवाई करने के निर्देश दिए। सचिव ने कहा कि इस तरह की चौपाल/बहुद्देशीय शिविरों के समस्याओं का समाधान पूर्व में भी किया जाता रहा है।

Secretary Chief Minister, Energy and Alternative Energy, Labor and Planning Department Shri R.K. Meenakshi Sundaram organized night choupal at Government Primary School Sarimalli and listened to the public problems of the people. During this, he directed the concerned officials to take action on various points raised by the local villagers. The secretary said that the problems of such choupals/multipurpose camps have been solved in the past as well.
