On receiving information from the SDRF team that Dabbu (pet dog) of Joshimath resident Himanshu Mehra was trapped under the Marwadi bridge in the fast current of Alaknanda river, Dabbu was successfully rescued by Constable Arun Gairola and SDRF team.

आज भी प्रदेश के ज्यादातर इलाकों में बारिश की संभावना है। इसको लेकर मौसम विभाग ने ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया है। बृहस्पतिवार को राजधानी देहरादून सहित चंपावत, टिहरी, पौड़ी, हरिद्वार, बागेश्वर, नैनीताल, पिथौरागढ़ में भारी से भारी बारिश हो सकती है। मौसम विभाग ने अगले तीन दिन तक बारिश की संभावना जताते हुए दो जुलाई तक बारिश का येलो अलर्ट जारी किया है।

Even today there is a possibility of rain in most areas of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding this. On Thursday, there may be heavy to very heavy rains in Champawat, Tehri, Pauri, Haridwar, Bageshwar, Nainital, Pithoragarh including the capital Dehradun. Expressing the possibility of rain for the next three days, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain till July 2.

चमोली जिले के नंदानगर विकास खंड में नंदानगर-सितेल मोटर मार्ग पर बीती रात एक पिकअप वाहन हादसे का शिकार हो गया। पिकअप वाहन सीतेल रोड पर पार्किंग के पास अनियंत्रित होकर डेढ़ सौ मीटर सड़क से नीचे नदी में गिर गया। जिसमें चालक की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

A pickup vehicle fell into the river last night on the Nandanagar-Sitel motorway in Nandanagar development block of Chamoli district. The pickup vehicle went uncontrolled near the parking lot on Sitel Road and fell into the river 150 meters below the road. In which the driver died on the spot.

बृहस्पतिवार सुबह श्रीनगर-टिहरी मोटर मार्ग पर कांडीखाल के समीप गैस सिलेंडर से भरे एक ट्रक में जोरदार ब्लास्ट हो गया। धमाका इतना जोरदार था कि इसकी आवाज से इलाके के लोगों में हड़कंप मच गया। गैस सिलिंडर से भरे ट्रक में सिर्फ चालक था। ट्रक में ब्लास्ट होने पर चालक ने भागकर जान बचाई। ट्रक में आग लगने के कारण टिहरी-श्रीनगर कांडीखाल के पास मार्ग बंद है।

On Thursday morning, a huge blast took place in a truck full of gas cylinders near Kandikhal on the Srinagar-Tehri motorway. The explosion was so loud that its sound created a stir among the people of the area. Only the driver was in the truck full of gas cylinders. When the truck exploded, the driver saved his life by running away. Tehri-Srinagar road is closed near Kandikhal due to truck fire.
