Violence erupts in Pakistan, several killed in firing
According to reports, protests in Skardu city of Pakistan-occupied Gilgit-Baltistan suddenly turned violent. It has been reported that around 38 people from the Balti Shia community were killed and several others were injured in firing by security forces, after which angry protesters targeted government buildings and military facilities.
