मध्य प्रदेश का तीर्थयात्री गंगोत्री धाम में स्नान करते समय भागीरथी नदी में बह गया। स्नान के दौरान घाट पर मौजूद लोगों ने कहा कि वो उन्हीं के साथ स्नान कर रहे थे। इसी दौरान वो नदी के तेज बहाव में ओझल हो गए। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही एसडीआरएफ की टीम यात्री की तलाश में जुट गई है।

A pilgrim from Madhya Pradesh was washed away in the Bhagirathi river while bathing at Gangotri Dham. During the bath, the people present at the ghat said that they were taking a bath with them. During this time he disappeared in the strong current of the river. As soon as information about the incident was received, the SDRF team started searching for the passenger.

मुख्य सचिव डॉ0 एस.एस. संधु की अध्यक्षता में बीते दिन सचिवालय में देहरादून स्थित दून लाइब्रेरी एंड रिसर्च सेंटर की सामान्य निकाय की द्वितीय बैठक संपन्न हुई। बैठक के दौरान मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि वर्तमान की आवश्यकता के अनुरूप मॉडर्न दून लाइब्रेरी में ई-लाइब्रेरी का मैकेनिज्म विकसित किया जाए। उन्होंने इसे आईआईटी के पुस्तकालय तंत्र को अपनाए जाने हेतु आईआईटी रुड़की आदि से एमओयू किए जाने की आवश्यकता पर भी बल दिया।

The second meeting of the general body of Doon Library and Research Center, Dehradun was held in the Secretariat yesterday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu. During the meeting, the CS said that as per the present requirement, the mechanism of the e-library should be developed in the Modern Doon Library. He also stressed the need to sign an MoU with IIT Roorkee etc. for adopting the library system of IIT.

अपर मुख्य सचिव श्रीमती राधा रतूड़ी ने बीते दिन सचिवालय में बैठक लेकर निराश्रित, बालश्रम से मुक्त बच्चों के तहसील स्तर पर अभियान चलाकर आधार कार्ड के साथ ही राशन कार्ड व आयुष्मान कार्ड बनाने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने श्रमिकों विशेषकर खनन क्षेत्रों में काम करने वाले मजदूरों के बच्चों की शिक्षा के लिए मोबाइल स्कूलों की व्यवस्था को प्रभावी रूप से लागू करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

सीएम धामी ने लंदन में ग्लोबल इंवेस्टर्स सम्मिट हेतु आयोजित बैठक में प्रतिभाग किया। सीएम की उपस्थिति में लंदन में पोमा ग्रुप के साथ 2 हजार करोड़ रूपये का इन्वेस्टर एमओयू साइन किया गया। राज्य सरकार की ओर से सचिव उद्योग विनय शंकर पांडेय ने एमओयू साइन किया। सीएम ने आगामी दिसंबर माह में आयोजित होने वाले ग्लोबल इन्वेस्टर समिट हेतु उत्तराखण्ड आने के लिए निवेशकों को आमंत्रित किया।

एसडीआरएफ द्वारा जनपद पौड़ी के तहसील श्रीनगर परिसर में विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण के कार्मिकों और पैरा लीगल वॉलेंटर्स को 01 दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण के अंतर्गत आपदा प्रबंधन से संबंधित जानकारी जैसे भूकम्प, बाढ़, भूस्खलन, प्राथमिक चिकित्सा उपचार में सीपीआर, स्पलिंट बांधना, ड्रेसिंग, घायल को कैरी करने के वैकल्पिक तरीके व रोप रेस्क्यू की महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी दी गयी।

SDRF provided information related to disaster management like earthquakes, floods, landslides, CPR in first aid treatment, tying splints, dressing, and carrying the injured, under 01-day training to Legal Services Authority personnel and para legal volunteers in Tehsil Srinagar campus of Pauri district. Important information about alternative methods and rope rescue was given.
