राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) गुरुवार को बाबा केदारनाथ के दर्शनों को केदारनाथ धाम पहुचें। उन्होंने बाबा केदारनाथ का रुद्राभिषेक कर बाबा की विशेष पूजा अर्चना कर विश्व एवं जन कल्याण के कामना की। इस दौरान उन्होंने केदारनाथ में चल रहे पुनर्निर्माण एवं विकास कार्यों का निरीक्षण भी किया। राज्यपाल ने सभी तीर्थ पुरोहितों से भेंट करने के बाद बाबा केदारनाथ मंदिर में प्रवेश कर विशेष पूजा अर्चना कर संपूर्ण विश्व एवं मानवता के कल्याण की कामना की।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) reached Kedarnath Dham on Thursday to visit Baba Kedarnath. He performed Rudrabhishek of Baba Kedarnath offered special worship to Baba and wished for the welfare of the world and people. During this, he also inspected the ongoing reconstruction and development works in Kedarnath. After meeting all the pilgrim priests, the Governor entered Baba Kedarnath temple and offered special prayers and wished for the welfare of the entire world and humanity.

जौली ग्रान्ट एयरपोर्ट परिसर के अंदर गुलदार दिखाई देने के बाद सुरक्षाकर्मियों की टीम चौकस हो गई है। घटना की सूचना पर एयरपोर्ट प्रशासन ने गुलदार को पिंजरे में कैद करने के लिए वन विभाग को पत्र लिख दिया है। बता दें गुलदार एयरपोर्ट चहारदीवारी के पास दो मवेशियों को निवाला भी बना चुका है। सूचना पर थानों वन विभाग की टीम नियमित गश्त कर रही है।

The team of security personnel became alert after the Guldar were seen inside the Jolly Grant Airport premises. राजभवन में सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक के उपयोग एवं इसके दुष्प्रभावों के सम्बन्ध में जागरूकता हेतु ‘प्लास्टिक से जंग’ कार्यशाला का आयोजन हुआ। राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने इस कार्यशाला में प्रतिभाग करते हुए स्वच्छता अभियान में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देने वाले वेस्ट वॉरियर और प्लास्टिक वेस्ट प्रबंधन में  सराहनीय प्रयास करने वाली संस्थाओं को सम्मानित किया। इस कार्यशाला में पर्यावरण संरक्षण और प्लास्टिक वेस्ट पर आधारित स्टॉल भी लगाए गए थे जिसका राज्यपाल ने अवलोकन किया।

The ‘Fight with Plastic’ workshop was organized at Raj Bhavan to create awareness regarding the use of single-use plastic and its ill effects. While participating in this workshop, Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) honored the Waste Warriors who have made significant contributions to the cleanliness campaign and the organizations that have made commendable efforts in plastic waste management. In this workshop, stalls based on environmental protection and plastic waste were also set up, which the Governor inspected.

पिथौरागढ़ पुलिस द्वारा ग्राम पंचायत सरमोली क्षेत्रान्तर्गत लगभग 01 नाली भूमि में अवैध रुप से की जा रही भांग की खेती को नष्ट किया गया। पुलिस टीम द्वारा स्थानीय ग्रामीणों को भविष्य में भांग की खेती न करने व नशे से होने वाले दुष्परिणामों से अवगत कराते हुए नशा मुक्ति अभियान में पुलिस का सहयोग करने की अपील की गई।
