राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने पुलिस लाइन देहरादून में आयोजित किये गये उपवा दिवाली मेले का समापन किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने उपवा दिवाली मेले में आयोजित किये गये सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों तथा पुलिस परिजनों के लिए आयोजित लकी ड्रा प्रतियोगिता में विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत किया। समापन समारोह के दौरान राज्यपाल द्वारा उत्तराखंड पुलिस वाइव्स वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन को इस भव्य आयोजन के लिए बधाई देते हुए पुलिस परिजनों के कल्याणार्थ उपवा द्वारा किए जा रहे प्रयासों की सराहना की।

During this, he rewarded the winners of the cultural programs organized in the Upwa Diwali fair and the lucky draw competition organized for police relatives. During the closing ceremony, the Governor congratulated the Uttarakhand Police Wives Welfare Association for organizing this grand event and appreciated the efforts being made by UPWA for the welfare of the police families.

गोवा में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय खेलों में उत्तराखंड के सूरज पंवार निवासी कारगी ग्रांट ने एथलेटिक्स स्पर्धा में प्रदेश का नाम रोशन किया है। जिसके बाद से प्रदेश में खुशी की लहर है। सूरज ने 20 किलोमीटर रेस वॉकिंग में उत्तराखंड के लिए पहला गोल्ड मेडल जीता है। सूरज ने ये रेस एक घंटा 27 मिनट में पूरी की है। बता दें नेशनल गेम्स के 37वें सीजन का उद्घाटन पीएम मोदी ने दक्षिण गोवा के फतोर्दा में पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू स्टेडियम में किया।

उत्तराखंड राज्य आंदोलनकारी मंच की ओर से वरिष्ठ राज्य आंदोलनकारी स्व0 सुशीला बलूनी की 84वीं जयंती मातृशक्ति दिवस के रूप में मनाई गई। इस दौरान विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिए पांच महिलाओं को मातृशक्ति सम्मान से नवाजा गया। कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित सुनील उनियाल गामा ने राज्य आंदोलनकारियों का भवन कर माफ करने की घोषणा की। मेयर गामा ने कहा कि एक महीने के भीतर इसका प्रस्ताव निगम की बोर्ड बैठक में रखा जाएगा।

केदारनाथ धाम में कपाट खुलने के बाद से अभी तक दर्शनार्थियों का आंकड़ा 18 लाख 58 हजार से अधिक पहुंच चुका है। रविवार को 21106 श्रद्धालुओं ने दर्शन किए। सुबह चार बजे से ही मंदिर परिसर में भक्तों की भीड़ उमड़ना शुरू हो गई थी। दोपहर तक मंदिर परिसर से लेकर मंदिर मार्ग से होते हुए संगम से हाट बाजार तक लंबी लाइन लगी रही। बता दें भगवान केदारनाथ के कपाट आगामी 15 नवंबर को भैयादूज के पावन पर्व पर बंद किए जाएंगे।

बाबा केदार के दर्शन के लिए उमड़ा भक्तों का सैलाब

Since the opening of the doors of Kedarnath Dham, the number of visitors has reached more than 18 lakh 58 thousand. 21106 devotees visited on Sunday. The crowd of devotees started gathering in the temple premises from four in the morning. Till afternoon, there was a long line from the temple premises to the Haat Bazaar via the temple road. कवि कुमार विश्वास इन दिनों उत्तराखंड पहुंचे हुए हैं। उन्होंने अपने परिवार के साथ बाबा केदार और भगवान बद्रीविशाल का आशीर्वाद लिया। धाम के दर्शनों के बाद उन्होंने कहा कि बद्रीनाथ धाम में आकर खुश हूं। इसके बाद उन्होंने धाम के रावल ईश्वर प्रसाद नंबूदरी से भी भेंट की। बद्रीनाथ धाम के दर्शनों के बाद कुमार विश्वास केदारनाथ के लिए रवाना हो गए। केदारनाथ धाम पहुंचकर उन्होंने बाबा केदार के दर्शन किए। इसके साथ ही वो हरिद्वार पहुंचे जहां उन्होंने हर की पैड़ी पर पूजा अर्चना की।

After visiting Badrinath Dham, Kumar Vishwas left for Kedarnath. After reaching Kedarnath Dham, he had a darshan of Baba Kedar. With this, he reached Haridwar where he offered prayers at Har Ki Paadi.

राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने मसूरी में जॉर्ज एवरेस्ट कार्टोग्राफी संग्रहालय का भ्रमण किया। यह संग्रहालय महान गणितज्ञ राधानाथ सिकदर और पंडित नैन सिंह रावत को समर्पित है। 1832 में बने सर जार्ज एवरेस्ट हाउस को संग्रहालय के रूप में विकसित किया गया है। इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल ने संग्रहालय में कार्टोग्राफी का इतिहास, कार्टोग्राफी से जुड़े उपकरणों, महान भारतीय सर्वेक्षकों और द ग्रेट ट्रिगोनोमेट्रिकल सर्वे के विषय में जानकारी ली।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) visited the George Everest Cartography Museum in Mussoorie. This museum is dedicated to the great mathematicians Radhanath Sikdar and Pandit Nain Singh Rawat. Sir George Everest House, built in 1832, has been developed as a museum. On this occasion, the Governor took information about the history of cartography, equipment related to cartography, great Indian surveyors, and The Great Trigonometrical Survey in the museum.

पिथौरागढ़ पुलिस द्वारा चैकिंग/छापेमारी के दौरान दोबाट में मान सिंह पुत्र सतन सिंह निवासी रांथी कोतवाली धारचूला को 16 लीटर कच्ची शराब के साथ गिरफ्तार किया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले कुल 48 वाहन चालकों के विरुद्ध एम0वी0 एक्ट, मिशन मर्यादा में 32 लोगों के विरुद्ध पुलिस अधि0, 02 लोगों के विरूद्ध कोटपा अधिनियम के तहत, चालान की कार्यवाही कर 01 वाहन सीज किया गया।

During checking/raiding by Pithoragarh Police, Man Singh, son of Satan Singh, resident of Ranthi Kotwali Dharchula in Dobat was arrested with 16 liters of raw liquor. Apart from this, a total of 48 drivers who violated traffic rules were booked under the MV Act, the Police Act against 32 people under Mission Maryada, challan against 02 people under the COTPA Act, and 01 vehicle was seized.
