वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक पौड़ी श्रीमती श्वेता चौबे द्वारा सड़क दुर्घटना में स्थानीय पुलिस का सहयोग करने वाले 09 व्यक्तियों को गुड सेमेरिटन स्कीम के तहत सम्मानित किया गया। सड़क हादसों में घायलों को बचाने में आगे बढ़कर कार्य करने वालों को पौड़ी पुलिस नगद पुरस्कार व प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर प्रोत्साहित कर रही है।

पिथौरागढ़ पुलिस द्वारा चैकिंग के दौरान चौकी पीपली क्षेत्र में सिलौनी जाने वाले रास्ते पर अल्टो कार में अभियुक्त भूपेन्द्र सिंह पुत्र विशन सिंह निवासी ग्राम डौडा थाना अस्कोट पिथौरागढ़ को 45 लीटर कच्ची शराब के साथ गिरफ्तार कर उसके विरूद्ध कोतवाली अस्कोट में अभियोग पंजीकृत किया गया। शराब परिवहन में प्रयुक्त कार को भी सीज किया गया ।

During checking by the Pithoragarh Police, the accused Bhupendra Singh, son of Vishan Singh, resident of village Dauda, Askot, Pithoragarh, was arrested in an Alto car on the way to Chowki Pipli area with 45 liters of raw liquor and a case was registered against him in the Kotwali Askot. The car used to transport liquor was also seized.

आगामी दीपावाली एवं अन्य त्योहारों के दृष्टिगत यातायात व्यवस्था के सम्बन्ध में पुलिस मुख्यालय में समीक्षा बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। समीक्षा बैठक में श्री अशोक कुमार डीजीपी सर ने शहर की यातायात व्यवस्था के महत्वपूर्ण बिन्दुओं पर विचार.विमर्श करते हुए यातायात व्यवस्था को सुचारू रूप से चलाने  के सख्त निर्देश दिये, साथ ही ड्यूटी में लापरवाही बरतने वाले पुलिस कर्मियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाही अमल में लाने हेतु निर्देशित किया गया।
