गोवा में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय खेलों में उत्तराखंड की सोनिया सिंह ने कयाकिंग एवं केनोइंग की 500 मीटर रेस में सिल्वर मेडल हासिल कर प्रदेश का नाम रोशन किया है। जिसके बाद से प्रदेश में खुशी की लहर है। बता दें सोनिया को मिलाकर उत्तराखंड की झोली में अब तक तीन गोल्ड और एक सिल्वर मेडल आ चुके हैं। उत्तराखंड अगले साल 2024 में 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों की मेजबानी करेगा। नौ नवंबर को गोवा में चल रहे राष्ट्रीय खेलों के समापन पर राज्य को भारतीय ओलंपिक संघ का ध्वज मिलेगा।

रविवार को बाबा बागेश्वर ने केदारनाथ और बदरीनाथ धाम के दर्शन किए। मंदिर में पहुंचने के दौरान बदरी केदार मंदिर समिति के सदस्यों ने उनका स्वागत किया। इस दौरान मौके पर हजारों की भीड़ एकत्रित रही। बदरीनाथ धाम पहुंचकर बाबा बागेश्वर ने धर्मशाला का भूमि पूजन किया। बता दें शनिवार को बाबा बागेश्वर का दिव्य दरबार देहरादून के परेड ग्राउंड के खेल मैदान में लगा था। दरबार में बाबा के भक्तों की भीड़ उमड़ी हुई थी।

श्रीनगर में तोताघाटी के पास बड़ा सड़क हादसा हो गया। श्रीनगर से देहरादून आ रहा पिकअप वाहन अनियंत्रित होकर खाई में जा गिरा। हादसे में एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई। जबकि अन्य घायल हो गया। जानकारी के मुताबिक वाहन श्रीनगर से देहरादून आ रहा था। तभी अनियंत्रित होकर गहरी खाई में जा गिरा। हादसे के बाद स्थानीय लोगों ने घटना की सूचना पुलिस को दी। सूचना पाकर पुलिस की टीम मौके पर पहुंची और रेस्क्यू शुरू किया।

आर्मी इंटेलिजेंस ने एक फर्जी आर्मी मैन को गिरफ्तार किया है। बताया जा रहा है कि पुलिसकर्मियों से एक आदमी भिड़ रहा था जो कि आर्मी की वर्दी में था। पुलिस को शक होने पर जब पूछताछ की गई तो आरोपी बातें बनाता रहा जिसके बाद आर्मी इंटेलिजेंस ने उसे पकड़ लिया। फर्जी फौजी के पास से आर्मी इंटेलिजेंस को सेना का फर्जी आई कार्ड, कैंटीन कार्ड, सेना के अन्य दस्तावेज एवं सूबेदार रैंक के स्टार, सेना की वर्दी के साथ ही एक 22 लाख का चेक मिला है।

शुक्रवार को नीती घाटी में सीजन की पहली बर्फबारी हुई। सीजन की पहली बर्फबारी के बाद से घाटी में तापमान लुढ़कने के कारण कड़ाके के ठंड पड़ रही है। कड़ाके की ठंड के बीच लोग यहां अभी भी रह रहे हैं। बता दें कि घाटी के कुछ परिवार तो अपने शीतकालीन प्रवास को लौट चुके हैं। लेकिन तीस से पैंतीस परिवार अभी ठंड के बीच मे यहीं रह रहे हैं। जहां एक ओर नीती घाटी में शुक्रवार रात बर्फबारी देखने को मिली तो वहीं बद्रीनाथ धाम में शुक्रवार दोपहर बाद ही बर्फबारी का सिलसिला शुरू हो गया था। बर्फबारी के बीच भी श्रद्धालु धाम में दर्शन के लिए पहुंच रहे हैं।
