भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान महेंद्र सिंह धोनी उत्तराखंड आए हुए हैं। बुधवार को महेंद्र सिंह धोनी अपनी पत्नी साक्षी के साथ अपने गांव ल्वाली अल्मोड़ा पहुंच गए। ग्रामीणों ने धोनी के गांव पहुंचते ही उनका स्वागत किया। वहां पहुंचकर धोनी व साक्षी ने गांव में ईष्ट देव की पूजा की। 11 बजे के करीब महेंद्र सिंह धोनी गांव पहुंचे। ग्रामीण उन्हें देखकर खुशी से झूम उठे। ग्रामीणों के साथ धोनी अपने पैतृक आवास गए।

जनजाति गौरव दिवस के अवसर पर बुधवार को राजभवन में राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) से उत्तराखण्ड की थारू, बुक्सा, जौनसारी और भोटिया जनजाति समुदाय के लोगों ने मुलाकात की। अपनी पारंपरिक पोशाक में आए इन लोगों को राज्यपाल ने जनजाति गौरव दिवस की शुभकामनाएं दी। उन्होंने भगवान बिरसा मुंडा की जयंती पर उन्हें श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि सभी जनजातियां हमारा गौरव हैं, सांस्कृतिक विरासत के संरक्षण व संवर्धन में उनका महत्वपूर्ण योगदान है।

यमुनोत्री धाम के कपाट भैयादूज के पावन अवसर पर श्रद्धालुओं के लिए बंद कर दिए गए हैं। विश्व प्रसिद्ध यमुनोत्री धाम के कपाट बंद होने के मौके पर सैकड़ों श्रद्धालु इस पावन क्षण के साक्षी बने। सुबह 11ः57 बजे यमुनोत्री धाम के कपाट वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार के साथ शीतकाल के लिए बंद कर दिए गए। बता दें शीतकाल में छह महीने तक मां यमुना के दर्शन उनके शीतकालीन प्रवास खुशीमठ (खरसाली) में होंगे।

बीती सुबह 8ः30 बजे भैयादूज के पावन अवसर पर बाबा केदार के कपाट श्रद्धालुओं के लिए बंद कर दिए गए हैं। भगवान केदारनाथ की पंचमुखी डोली को विधि-विधान से मंदिर परिसर से रवाना किया गया। बता दें बाबा केदार की शीतकालीन पूजा गद्दीस्थल ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर ऊखीमठ में विराजमान होगी। 17 नवंबर को बाबा केदार छह माह की शीतकालीन पूजा-अर्चना के लिए ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर में विराजमान हो जाएंगे।

श्री केदारनाथ यात्रा हेतु आये एक श्रद्धालु के घोड़ा पड़ाव के पास अचानक अस्वस्थ होने की सूचना पर एसडीआरएफ टीम द्वारा त्वरित कार्यवाही करते हुए उक्त श्रद्धालु को अस्पताल पहुँचाकर उचित उपचार करवाया गया।
