राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने कोर विश्वविद्यालय, रूड़की में विकसित भारत अभियान के तहत ‘भारत ज्ञान समागम-2024’ कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि प्रतिभाग किया। भारत ज्ञान समागम में देशभर के 20 राज्यों के 50 से अधिक विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपतियों और 400 से अधिक शिक्षण संस्थाओं के प्रधानाचार्यों/प्राचार्यों एवं शिक्षाविदों ने प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यक्रम में राज्यपाल ने शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट कार्य कर रहे शिक्षाविदों को सम्मानित किया और समारोह की स्मारिका का भी विमोचन किया।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) participated as the chief guest in the 'Bharat Gyan Samagam-2024 program under the Developed India Campaign at Core University, Roorkee. Vice Chancellors of more than 50 universities and Principals/Principals and educationists of more than 400 educational institutions from 20 states across the country participated in the Bharat Gyan Samagam. In the program, the Governor honored the educationists doing excellent work in the field of education and also released a souvenir of the function.

सीएम धामी ने मुख्यमंत्री आवास में चिकित्सा शिक्षा विभाग के अन्तर्गत टेक्निकल संवर्ग में चयनित 85 अभ्यर्थियों एवं पशुपालन विभाग के लिए चयनित 19 सहायक लेखाकारों को नियुक्ति पत्र दिए। इस अवसर पर सीएम ने नियुक्ति प्राप्त करने वाले सभी अभ्यर्थियों को शुभकामनाएं दी।

कैबिनेट मंत्री डाॅ0 धन सिंह रावत ने ब्रिटिश सरकार की छात्रवृत्ति संस्था शेवेनिंग की इंडिया हेड के साथ बैठक की। शेवेनिंग अंतरराष्ट्रीय छात्रवृत्ति कार्यक्रम में राज्य 10 सरकारी स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले ग्रेजुएट छात्रों को भेजा जाएगा, जिसमें पांच छात्र और पांच छात्राएं शामिल होंगी। इसका ठोस प्रस्ताव बनाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। कैबिनेट मंत्री ने कहा कि शेवेनिंग ने दुनिया भर में कई प्रभावशाली नेताओं और परिवर्तन-निर्माताओं को तैयार किया है और यह अंतरराष्ट्रीय छात्रवृत्ति अवसरों में उत्कृष्टता का प्रतीक बना हुआ है।

Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat held a meeting with the Indian Head of Chevening, a scholarship organization of the British Government. The Chevening International Scholarship Program will send graduate students to study in 10 government schools in the state, which will include five male and five female students. Instructions have been given to make a concrete proposal for this.

बनभूलपुरा हिंसा में उत्तराखंड पुलिस ने बडी कार्यवाही करते हुए 25 उपद्रवी गिरफ्तार किए हैं। अभियुक्तों के कब्जे से 07 तमन्चे, 54 जिन्दा कारतूस एवं थाने से लूटे गये 99 जिन्दा कारतूस भी बरामद किये गये। पुलिस द्वारा अभी तक कुल 30 अभियुक्तों को गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है।

सीएम धामी से सचिवालय में शेवेनिंग इंडिया की प्रमुख सुप्रिया चावला ने भेंट की। इस दौरान उन्होंने सीएम को जानकारी दी कि शेवेनिंग अंतरराष्ट्रीय छात्रवृत्ति कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत राज्य सरकार के सहयोग से 10 ग्रेजुएट छात्र-छात्राओं को यूनाइटेड किंगडम में अध्ययन का अवसर मिलेगा। जिसमें पांच छात्र और पांच छात्राएं शामिल होंगी। इस अवसर पर सीएम ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार द्वारा राज्य के प्रतिभावान छात्र-छात्राओं को आगे लाने के लिए लगातार प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।

Chevening India head Supriya Chawla met CM Dhami at the Secretariat. During this, he informed the CM that under the Chevening International Scholarship Programme, 10 graduate students will get the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom with the help of the state government. In which five boys and five girls will participate. On this occasion, the CM said that the state government is continuously making efforts to bring forward the talented students of the state.

चम्पावत पुलिस ने चैकिंग के दौरान कमलपथ टनकपुर-चम्पावत राष्ट्रीय राज मार्ग पर कार को चैकिंग हेतु रोका गया तो संदिग्ध प्रतीत होने पर कार ड्राइवर व कार में बैठे व्यक्ति को कार सहित पकड़ लिया। पुलिस द्वारा दोनों की तलाशी लेने पर 25 किलो 687.50 ग्राम चरस बरामद हुई। पुलिस द्वारा दोनो को गिरफ्तार किया गया।  बरामद चरस की अन्तरराष्ट्रीय कीमत करीब 50 लाख रू0 है ।

नशा तस्करों से 50 लाख की चरस बरामद

During checking, Champawat Police stopped the car to check on Kamalpath Tanakpur-Champawat National Highway and when it appeared suspicious, they caught the car driver and the person sitting in the car along with the car. When the police searched both of them, 25 kg 687.50 grams of hashish was recovered. Both were arrested by the police. The international value of the recovered hashish is around Rs 50 lakh.
