ऋषिकेश के परमार्थ निकेतन घाट पर होने वाली विश्व विख्यात गंगा आरती को वर्ल्ड बुक आफ रिकार्ड्स में सूचिबद्ध किया गया है। आरती को 30 मिनट की नॉनस्टॉप दैनिक मनमोहक आरती के रूप में सूचीबद्ध कर पुरस्कृत किया गया है। परमार्थ निकेतन के अध्यक्ष स्वामी चिदानंद सरस्वती ने कहा कि इस स्थान पर वर्ष 1997 में गंगा आरती का आयोजन किया गया था, जो प्रतिदिन होती है।

The world famous Ganga Aarti held at Parmarth Niketan Ghat in Rishikesh has been listed in the World Book of Records. Aarti has been rewarded by listing as 30 minutes nonstop daily captivating aarti. Parmarth Niketan President Swami Chidanand Saraswati said that Ganga Aarti was organized at this place in the year 1997, which happens every day.

अपर मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी विजय कुमार जोगदंडे ने सचिवालय स्थित मीडिया सेंटर में प्रेस ब्रीफिंग कर करते हुए लोक सभा सामान्य निर्वाचन 2024 के संबंध में विभिन्न जानकारियां दी। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य में लोक सभा सामान्य निर्वाचन  2024 के लिए जांच के बाद जो नामांकन वैध पाये गए हैं। उनमें टिहरी लोक सभा सीट में 11, गढ़वाल लोकसभा सीट में 13, अल्मोड़ा लोकसभा सीट में 08, नैनीताल लोकसभा सीट में 10 और हरिद्वार लोकसभा सीट में 14 नामांकन शामिल हैं।

Due to which, a drop in temperature has been recorded. The Meteorological Center has predicted rain in some areas of Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts today.
