कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने सचिवालय में प्रदेश के ‘प्रथम खेल विश्वविद्यालय’ के लिए चयनित भूमि हस्तान्तरण के सम्बन्ध में मुख्य सचिव और उच्चाधिकारियों के साथ गतिमान कार्यवाही, आगामी कार्य योजना, कार्य प्रगति तथा अन्य महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं पर समीक्षा बैठक की। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देशित करते हुए कहा कि खेल विश्वविद्यालय के निर्माण के संबंध में आ रही व्यवहारिक दिक्कतों को जल्द से जल्द दूर किया जाए।

जनपद चमोली के कर्णप्रयाग क्षेत्रान्तर्गत लंगासू में अलकनंदा नदी में राफ्टिंग करते समय राफ्ट पलटने से उसमें सवार 09 लोग नदी में गिर गए। 05 लोग तो किसी तरह तैरते हुए किनारे आ गए। लेकिन 04 लोग नदी के बीच बने टापू पर फंस गए। एसडीआरएफ रेस्क्यू टीम व स्थानीय पुलिस द्वारा त्वरित कार्यवाही करते हुए राफ्ट की सहायता से चारों लोगों को सकुशल रेस्क्यू कर सुरक्षित किनारे लाया गया।

While rafting in the Alaknanda river at Langasu in Karnaprayag area of ​​Chamoli district, 09 people fell into the river when the raft overturned. 05 people somehow swam to the shore. राजभवन नैनीताल गोल्फ क्लब द्वारा आयोजित 19वें गवर्नर्स कप गोल्फ टूर्नामेंट के दूसरे दिन 68 गोल्फर खेले जिनमें 10 महिला खिलाड़ी, 05 जूनियर गोल्फर एवं 53 अन्य गोल्फरों ने अपने हाथ आजमाए। राजभवन गोल्फ कोर्स में देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों से आए गोल्फर टूर्नामेंट में प्रतिभाग करने के साथ ही यहां के प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य का लुत्फ उठा रहे हैं।
