Congress protests over rising leopard–bear attacks in Uttarakhand
In Uttarakhand’s hill regions, frequent attacks by leopards and bears have created fear among villagers. After several deaths and injuries, the Congress staged a protest led by state president Ganesh Godiyal at the Forest Department headquarters in Dehradun. Meanwhile, BJP leaders said the government is seriously monitoring the situation.
