अल्मोडा जनपद में कोसी नदी में व्यक्तियों की डूबने की सूचना पर थाना सोमेश्वर ने मौके पर पहुंचकर रेस्कयू अभियान चलाया। पुलिस टीम द्वारा स्थानीय जनता की मदद से तेज बहाव के बीच दोनो व्यक्तियों का रेस्क्यू किया एवं नजदीकी अस्पताल ले गया। जहां एक व्यक्ति को चिकित्सकों द्वारा मृत घोषित कर दिया तथा एक व्यक्ति को बचा लिया गया था।

On receiving information about drowning of people in Kosi river in Almora district, Someshwar police station reached the spot and started a rescue operation. With the help of local people, the police team rescued both the people amidst the strong current and took them to the nearest hospital. Where one person was declared dead by the doctors and one person was saved.

मौसम विभाग के अनुसार राजधानी देहरादून समेत नैनीताल, बागेश्वर और चंपावत जिले के कुछ इलाकों में तेज बारिश होने की संभावना है, जिसे देखते हुए मौसम वैज्ञानिकों ने बारिश का येलो अलर्ट जारी किया है। जबकि अन्य जनपदों में मौसम शुष्क बना रहेगा।

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas of Nainital, Bageshwar and Champawat districts including the capital Dehradun, in view of which meteorologists have issued a yellow alert for rain. While the weather will remain dry in other districts.

विकासखंड रामगढ़ के ग्राम हरतपा में सचल पशु चिकित्सालय, भीमताल द्वारा पशु चिकित्सा एवं बांझपन शिविर आयोजित किया गया। शिविर में पशुपालकों को पशुपालन विभाग की विभिन्न योजनाओं की जानकारी दी गई। साथ ही लगभग 30 पशुपालकों को पशुओं में होने वाली विभिन्न बीमारियों की दवाइयों का वितरण किया गया।

A veterinary and infertility camp was organized by Mobile Animal Hospital, Bhimtal in village Hartapa of development block Ramgarh. In the camp, livestock farmers were given information about various schemes of the Animal Husbandry Department. Also, medicines for various diseases affecting animals were distributed to about 30 livestock farmers.

In the International Deep Shooting Championship held in Hanover city of Germany, Shaurya Saini, resident of near KLDAV ground of Roorkee city of Haridwar district and Abhinav Deshwal, resident of Mangalore Road, Roorkee, both youths have brought pride to the entire state by winning silver medals in 10 meter air pistol shooting in different categories.

सीएम धामी ने शासकीय आवास में शासन के उच्चाधिकारियों एवं वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से पुलिस महानिदेशक सहित आयुक्तों, उपपुलिस महानिरीक्षकों, जिलाधिकारियों एवं वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षकों के साथ प्रदेश की कानून व्यवस्था की गहनता से समीक्षा की। इस दौरान सीएम ने अधिकारियों को प्रदेश की कानून व व्यवस्था को चुस्त.दुरुस्त बनाने तथा अपराधों पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण के सख्त निर्देश दिये।

विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्रीमती ऋतु खण्डूरी ने कोटद्वार स्थित डॉ पीताम्बर दत्त बर्थवाल राजकीय महाविद्यालय में विधायक निधि से नवनिर्मित पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार प्रयोगशाला का उद्घाटन कर छात्र-छात्राओं को प्रयोगशाला समर्पित की। उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रयोगशाला के माध्यम से छात्र-छात्राएँ आधुनिक पत्रकारिता के सिद्धांतों और प्रथाओं को सिखने में सक्षम होंगे।

Assembly Speaker Mrs. Ritu Khanduri inaugurated the newly built Journalism and Mass Communication Laboratory from MLA fund at Dr. Pitambar Dutt Barthwal Government College in Kotdwar and dedicated the laboratory to the students. She said that through this laboratory, students will be able to learn the principles and practices of modern journalism.
