Over 6,000 horses and mules deployed in Char Dham Yatra, strict monitoring continues

During the Char Dham Yatra, nearly 16,000 pilgrims traveling daily using horses and mules. Following an outbreak of Equine Influenza, the Animal Husbandry Department screened over 16,000 animals. Over 6,000 healthy horses and mules are now deployed on the route, with strict SOPs and continuous monitoring ensuring smooth operations.
