Organ donation in Jalna, Maharashtra gives a new lease of life to 7 patients

According to reports, medical student Dhananjay Kale died in a road accident in Jalna, Maharashtra, after which his family donated his organs, helping save the lives of seven patients. The hospital said his liver, kidneys, lungs, and corneas were donated, and described it as Jalna’s first successful organ retrieval procedure.
