Orange and yellow rain alerts issued in Uttarakhand

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Dehradun, Bageshwar, Champawat, and Nainital districts, and a yellow alert for Udham Singh Nagar, Pauri, Pithoragarh, and Chamoli due to continuous monsoon rains in Uttarakhand. The department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next 24 to 48 hours.
