जानकारी के अनुसार, वाराणसी में पुलिस ने अवैध घुसपैठ के खिलाफ ऑपरेशन टॉर्च शुरू किया है। इसके तहत झुग्गी-झोपड़ी क्षेत्रों में रह रहे लोगों के पहचान पत्रों की जांच की जा रही है और बाहरी लोगों के दस्तावेजों का सत्यापन किया जा रहा है। वहीं, पुलिस ने बिना सत्यापन किसी भी बाहरी व्यक्ति को किराए पर कमरा न देने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

According to report, the police in Varanasi have launched 'Operation Torch' against illegal infiltration. Under this drive, identity documents of people living in slum areas are being checked & the documents of outsiders are being verified. Police have instructed that no room should be rented to any outsider without proper verification.
