On-the-spot biometric verification to be mandatory during land registration

According to reports, Aadhaar verification will be made mandatory from February 1 to curb fraud in land registrations. It has been stated that during registration, on-the-spot biometric verification will be done for the buyer, the seller, and the witnesses, and the process will move forward only after successful identity confirmation.
