On the previous day, a meeting of the Rural Development and Migration Commission was organized under the chairmanship of CM Dhami.

During the meeting, CM Dhami said that the name of this commission formed with the aim of preventing migration from rural areas should be named Migration Prevention Commission. CM Dhami was instructed to form a committee under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Shri Anand Bardhan. The CM said that for the development of rural areas, work should be done on the concept of one village and one servant.
