राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) से राजभवन में सहकारिता विभाग के अधिकारियों ने भेंट कर विभागीय योजनाओं और कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी दी। सचिव डॉ0 बी.वी आर. सी पुरुषोत्तम ने राज्यपाल को विभागीय संस्थाओं और उनके कार्यों आदि की विस्तृत जानकारी दी। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि सहकारिता आंदोलन को जन-जन तक पहुंचाना हमारी प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें सहकारिता को रोजगार सृजन का माध्यम बनाकर उसमें अधिक से अधिक लोगों को जोड़ने के प्रयास करने चाहिए।

Officials of the Cooperative Department met Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) at Raj Bhavan and gave information about the departmental schemes and programs. Secretary Dr. B.V.R. C Purushottam gave detailed information to the Governor about the departmental institutions and their functions etc. The Governor said that taking the cooperative movement to every person should be our priority. He said that we should make cooperation a medium for employment generation and make efforts to involve more and more people in it.
