बीते दिन श्री प्रमेन्द्र डोबाल द्वारा पुलिस लाईन में गार्द सलामी लेने के पश्चात् पुलिस अधीक्षक चमोली का कार्यभार ग्रहण किया गया । 
पुलिस अधीक्षक चमोली के कार्यालय में पदभार ग्रहण करने के बाद पुलिस कार्यालय पर तैनात सभी अधिकारियों व शाखा प्रभारियों से परिचय प्राप्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि कहा कि जिला चमोली को अपराध मुक्त बनाने, शांति एवं कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखना हमारी प्राथमिकता होगी।

On the previous day, after taking a guard salute in the police line by Shri Pramendra Dobal, the charge of Superintendent of Police Chamoli was taken. He said that making the district Chamoli crime-free, and maintaining peace and law and order would be our priority.
