खबर के अनुसार, कोई भी अग्निवीर स्थाई सैनिक बनने से पहले विवाह नहीं कर सकता और यदि कोई उम्मीदवार स्थाई नियुक्ति से पहले शादी करता है, तो वह चयन प्रक्रिया से बाहर कर दिया जाएगा। बताया गया कि अग्निवीर योजना 2022 में शुरू हुई थी और पहले बैच की सेवा जून-जुलाई 2026 में पूरी होने वाली है, जिसमें से 25 प्रतिशत युवाओं को स्थाई सैनिक बनाया जाएगा।
