उत्तराखंड की नैनीताल जिले की हल्द्वानी निवासी नव्या पांडे ने जॉर्डन की राजधानी अम्मान में आयोजित एशियन जुजित्सू चैंपियनशिप में 45 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर देश का नाम रोशन किया है। फाइनल में उन्होंने कजाकिस्तान की खिलाड़ी को हराया है। अब उनका लक्ष्य 2026 एशियन गेम्स में पदक जीतना है।

Navya Pandey, a resident of Haldwani in Nainital district of Uttarakhand, made the nation proud by winning a gold medal in the 45 kg weight category at the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship held in Amman, the capital of Jordan. She defeated a player from Kazakhstan in the final. Her next goal is to win a medal at the 2026 Asian Games.
