एसएसपी नैनीताल पंकज भट्ट के निर्देशन में नैनीताल पुलिस द्वारा आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव की 75वी वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर तिरंगा यात्रा हल्द्वानी शहर के मण्डी क्षेत्र से प्रारम्भ कर बनभूलपुरा-मुखानी-काठगोदाम क्षेत्रों से होकर हल्द्वानी रोड़वेज विभिन्न स्थानों में तिरंगा यात्रा निकाली गयी, तिरंगा यात्रा के माध्यम से जनता को राष्ट्र के गौरव तिरंगा ध्वज का सम्मान करने के लिए जागरूक किया गया तथा आजादी के इस पावन महोत्सव को धूम-धाम से मनाये जाने की अपील की गयी।
