मिजोरम को आज़ादी के 78 साल बाद पहली बार रेल संपर्क मिला है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग से सारंग से बैरवी तक 51 किलोमीटर लंबी रेलवे लाइन का उद्घाटन किया। इस ऐतिहासिक परियोजना से मिजोरम के लोगों को आसान सफर, स्थानीय उत्पादों की देशभर में आपूर्ति और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

Mizoram has received railway connectivity for the first time. PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the 51-kilometer-long railway line from Sairang to Bairabi through video conferencing.
