Meteorological Department issued heavy rain alert

According to the weather bulletin by the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for heavy rains in many districts of Uttarakhand state. Highways are likely to be blocked at some places due to landslides and rock falls in vulnerable areas, mainly Mukteshwar, Bhawali, Nainital, Ramnagar, Betalghat, Chorgalia, and Kathgodam.
