Meteorological Department issued alert

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with strong winds in the high altitude areas of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh during the next 24 hours. A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department. In the mountainous areas, along with lightning, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour.
