जानकारी के अनुसार, दक्षिणी फिलीपींस के एक छोटे द्वीपीय इलाके में भीषण आग लगने से करीब 1,000 घर जलकर नष्ट हो गए और लगभग 5,000 लोग बेघर हो गए। बताया गया कि समुद्र के ऊपर लकड़ी के खंभों पर घर बने थे और तेज हवाओं के कारण आग तेजी से फैल गई। वहीं, प्रशासन ने राहत शिविर स्थापित किए हैं, जबकि आग लगने के कारणों की जांच जारी है।
