पौड़ी जिले के एकेश्वर ब्लॉक के सिरोली गांव में गुलदार के हमले से 54 वर्षीय  पूरण सिंह की मौत हो गई। घटना पीपली के पास उस समय हुई जब वह बाजार से लौट रहे थे। सुबह शव मिलने के बाद गांव में हड़कंप मच गया। वन विभाग ने इलाके में पिंजरे, कैमरे और गश्त की व्यवस्था शुरू कर दी है। ग्रामीणों ने गुलदार को आदमखोर घोषित कर मारने की मांग की है।

A 54-year-old man, was killed in a leopard attack near Peepali in Siroli village, Ekeshwar block, Pauri district. He was returning from the market when the attack occurred. His body was found the next morning, sparking panic in the area. The forest department has begun setting up cages, camera traps, and patrolling.
