छत्तीसगढ़ में नक्सलवाद के खिलाफ बड़ी सफलता मिली है। राज्य में 180 से अधिक नक्सलियों ने एक साथ आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया, जिसके बाद अबूझमाड़ को नक्सल-मुक्त क्षेत्र घोषित किया गया है। इस दौरान आत्मसमर्पण करने वाले नक्सलियों का स्वागत संविधान की किताब और फूल देकर किया गया।

Chhattisgarh has achieved a major success against Naxalism. More than 180 Naxalites surrendered together, after which Abujhmad was declared a Naxal-free region. During the event, the surrendering Naxalites were welcomed with copies of the Constitution and flowers.
