Major train accident in Thane, several passengers fall from train due to overcrowding

This morning, at Mumbra railway station in Thane district of Maharashtra, several passengers fell from a local train due to heavy overcrowding. Many were injured and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital. In response, the railway authorities have decided to install automatic door closers in Mumbai suburban trains.
