चमोली में मणखी के पास एक कार अनियंत्रित होकर खाई में जा गिरी। पुलिस द्वारा दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार थाना नंदा नगर घाट पर पुलिस को सूचना मिली थी कि मणखी गांव के पास एक कार अनियंत्रित होकर 300 मीटर नीचे खाई में जाकर पलट गई है। पुलिस ने ग्रामीणों की मदद से तीनों घायलों को बहार निकाला। लेकिन तब तक कार सवार तीनों लोगों की मौत हो चुकी थी।
