अल्मोड़ा के चितई मंदिर से लगभग 2 किमी आगे कालीधार बैंड के पास बीते सुबह दो वाहनों की भिड़ंत के बाद एक कार करीब 50 मीटर गहरी खाई में गिर गई। सूचना मिलते ही कोतवाली अल्मोड़ा पुलिस और एसडीआरएफ टीमें मौके पर पहुंचीं और स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से कार में सवार दो लोगों का सुरक्षित रेस्क्यू कर अस्पताल भेजा गया।

A car plunged nearly 50 meters into a gorge after colliding with another vehicle near Kalidhar Bend, about 2 km ahead of Chitai Temple in Almora.
