भारत ने विमानन क्षेत्र में बड़ा कदम उठाते हुए हिंदुस्तान एयरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड  और रूस की यूनाइटेड एयरक्राफ्ट कॉरपोरेशन के बीच समझौता किया है। इसके तहत देश में ही यात्री विमानों का निर्माण होगा। यह भारत का पहला मेड इन इंडिया सिविल एयरक्राफ्ट प्रोजेक्ट है, जिससे आत्मनिर्भर भारत मिशन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

India has taken a major step in the aviation sector as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) signed an agreement with Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation to manufacture passenger aircraft within the country. This marks India’s first “Made in India” civil aircraft project, giving a strong boost to the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission.
