कोतवाली लक्सर में नियुक्त कां0 अजीत तोमर की नज़र गश्त के दौरान मानसिक रूप से विक्षिप्त एक युवक पर पड़ी। काफी पूछताछ के बाद भी नाम पता न बता पाने पर अजीत द्वारा उक्त युवक को सुल्तानपुर चौकी पर लाकर खाना खिलाया। काफी प्रयासों के बाद ऋषिकेश में मजदूरी का कार्य करने वाले युवक के चचेरे भाई प्रियेश को चौकी बुलाकर चम्पारण बिहार निवासी प्रभात को उनके सुपुर्द किया गया।  युवक के परिजन द्वारा हरिद्वार पुलिस का आभार प्रकट किया गया।।
