Local farmers in Uttarakhand begin supplying poultry products to the Indian Army

Under an initiative by the Uttarakhand government, the Indian Army will now purchase poultry products from local farmers through the Animal Husbandry Department. The first batch was dispatched from Chamoli for the Army’s forward posts. This scheme aims to boost farmers’ income and ensure the use of locally produced goods for Army.
