Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh has assumed charge as the new Vice Chief of the Indian Army. He succeeds Lieutenant General N. S. Raja Subramani in the position. Before taking over his new role, he paid tribute to the martyred soldiers at the National War Memorial.
