जानकारी के अनुसार, गैरसैंण के सीमावर्ती मेहलचौरी और कुनीगाड़ क्षेत्र में गुलदार के लगातार हमलों से दहशत बढ़ गई है। बीते एक माह में गुलदार ने कई गौशालाओं में घुसकर गाय-बछड़ों समेत मवेशियों को निशाना बनाया है और साथ ही बताया जा रहा है कि विभाग ने क्षेत्र में पिंजरा लगा दिया है और लोगों से सतर्क रहने की अपील की गई है।
