चंपावत के बाराकोट के रैघाव गांव में त्रिलोक सिंह की 12 बकरियों को तेंदुए ने अपना निवाला बना दिया। जिससे पीड़ित को भारी नुकसान हुआ है। ग्रामीणों ने वन विभाग से मामले का संज्ञान लेते हुए प्रभावित किसानों को मुआवजा दिलाने और क्षेत्र में पिंजरा लगाने की मांग की है। घटना से पूरे क्षेत्र में डर का माहौल है।

In Raighav village of Barakot, Champawat, a leopard devoured 12 goats of Trilok Singh. The victim has suffered a huge loss due to this. The villagers have demanded the Forest Department to take cognizance of the matter and provide compensation to the affected farmers and install a cage in the area.
