जानकारी के अनुसार, चमोली जिले के गैरसैंण के कुनीगाड़ और मेहलचौरी क्षेत्र में पिछले कुछ दिनों से मवेशियों पर हमले कर दहशत फैलाने वाले गुलदार को वन विभाग ने पकड़ लिया है। ग्रामीणों की मांग पर वन विभाग की टीम करीब 25 दिनों से रेस्क्यू अभियान और गश्त कर रही थी, ताकि करीब डेढ़ दर्जन मवेशियों को निवाला बनाने वाले गुलदार को पकड़ा जा सके।

According to report, the Forest Department has captured the leopard that had been creating fear by attacking livestock in the Kunigaad and Mehalchauri areas of Gairsain in Chamoli over the past few days. The team had been on patrol for about 25 days after villagers raised concerns.
