उत्तरकाशी के बृजमोहन सिंह राणा ने दिल्ली की नौकरी छोड़कर स्वरोजगार योजना के तहत ₹18 लाख के ऋण से अपने गांव में डिस्पोजल आइटम्स का लघु उद्योग शुरू किया। अब उनका सालाना टर्नओवर लगभग ₹8 लाख है और उन्होंने कई स्थानीय लोगों को रोजगार भी दिया है। इस पहल से गांव में पलायन भी रुका है।

Brijmohan Rana from Uttarkashi left his job in Delhi and started a small-scale disposable items industry in his village with a loan of ₹18 lakh under the self-employment scheme. Now, his annual turnover is around ₹8 lakh, and he has provided employment to many local people. This initiative has also helped stop migration from the village.
