पिथौरागढ़ के घाट बैंड क्षेत्र में भूस्खलन की वजह से टनकपुर-पिथौरागढ़ हाईवे पर यातायात पूरी तरह ठप हो गया था। सैकड़ों वाहन रास्ते में फंसे रहे और लोगों को घंटों इंतजार करना पड़ा। प्रशासन ने जेसीबी मशीनों की मदद से मलबा हटाकर मार्ग को साफ किया, हालांकि लगातार गिरते पत्थरों के कारण अभी भी सतर्कता बरती जा रही है।

Due to a landslide in the Ghat Band area of Pithoragarh, traffic on the Tanakpur-Pithoragarh National Highway came to a complete halt. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded, and people had to wait for hours. The administration cleared the road using JCB machines, but falling rocks remain a concern.
