जानकारी के अनुसार, कुमाऊनी लोकगीतों के प्रसिद्ध गायक दीवान कनवाल का 65 वर्ष की उम्र में बुधवार सुबह निधन हो गया, जिसके बाद अल्मोड़ा के वेतालेश्वर घाट में उनका अंतिम संस्कार किया गया, जहां बड़ी संख्या में लोग उन्हें अंतिम विदाई देने पहुंचे। वहीं, उनके निधन पर राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह और सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने भी गहरा शोक व्यक्त किया है।

According to reports, renowned Kumaoni folk singer Diwan Kanwal passed away on Wednesday at the age of 65. After his death, his last rites were performed at Vetalashwar Ghat in Almora, where a large number of people gathered to pay their final respects. Meanwhile, Governor and CM Dhami also expressed deep condolences over his demise.
