कैश कांड मामले में लोकसभा स्पीकर ओम बिरला ने इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट के जस्टिस यशवंत वर्मा के खिलाफ महाभियोग प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी देते हुए तीन सदस्यीय जांच समिति का गठन किया है। समिति की रिपोर्ट आने के बाद ही आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी। वहीं, जस्टिस वर्मा ने अपने ऊपर लगे आरोपों को साजिश करार देते हुए खुद को निर्दोष बताया है।
