राष्ट्रपति भवन में हुए समारोह में न्यायमूर्ति सूर्यकांत ने भारत के 53वें मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में पद और गोपनीयता की शपथ ली। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने उन्हें शपथ दिलाई, जबकि इस मौके पर पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी सहित कई वरिष्ठ नेता मौजूद रहे। बताया जा रहा है कि हरियाणा से संबंध रखने वाले जस्टिस सूर्यकांत का कार्यकाल करीब 15 महीनों का होगा।

At a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Justice Surya Kant took the oath of office and secrecy as the 53rd Chief Justice of India. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath, while PM Modi and several senior leaders were present on the occasion. It is being said that Justice Surya Kant, will have a tenure of around 15 months.
