Junior Engineer caught taking bribe in Dehradun, vigilance takes major action

According to reports, the vigilance team in Dehradun (Uttarakhand) caught a Junior Engineer of the electricity department red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹80,000. It is reported that the accused was demanding money in exchange for issuing a power connection and increasing the load, after which he was nabbed through a trap operation.
