दिनाँक 18.11.2024 को लोहाघाट में शिवालय मन्दिर पुल के पास एक जीप खाई में गिर गयी। सूचना पर लोहाघाट फायर सर्विस एवं पुलिस टीम द्वारा रेस्क्यू अभियान चलाकर सभी घायलों को लोहावती नदी से निकालकर अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया। यह जीप पिथौरागढ़ आर्मी भर्ती से लौट रहे अभ्यर्थियों को ला रही थी जो जीप शिवालय पुल के पास अनियंत्रित होकर खाई में गिर गई थी। दुर्घटना में 9 युवा घायल हो गए।

On 18.11.2024, a jeep fell into a ditch near the Shivalaya Mandir bridge in Lohaghat. On receiving the information, the Lohaghat Fire Service and Police team carried out a rescue operation and took all the injured out of the Lohavati river and took them to the hospital. This jeep was bringing candidates returning from Pithoragarh Army recruitment, which went out of control near the Shivalaya bridge and fell into the ditch. 9 youths were injured in the accident.
