Israel has introduced the world’s first operational high-energy laser weapon system, Iron Beam. This 100-kilowatt laser can destroy rockets, mortars, and drones within seconds. Its specialty is that each shot costs only a few dollars, whereas interceptor missiles cost millions of dollars.
